In this post, I will write about Amazon as one of the hardest and slowest ways to make money online. This money-making idea is one of the easiest to start but, hardest to make profit if you don’t have a clue where to begin.
You can go in a few directions for online money-making with Amazon. First is the least complicated of all, as it involves self publishing of ebooks with help of resources within Advantage program. You are probably saying as the screen: “Write an ebook (are you crazy?) and sell it without editor’s blessing and then die out of embarrassment. I don’t think so.“.
Well, don’t sweat it, you can sell ebooks that are of proven quality and free to use commercially. It’s easy, just find on the Internet a pubic domain sites with large selection of ebooks or images, then pick a great public domain book, insert in it some awesome & book related images that will complement reading experience, use new covers, repackage it and sell on Amazon.
This way of self publishing is quite easy, just make sure that you pick the book that isn’t already offered in Amazon’s Kindle store. After that, you must advertise your ebook like crazy. Create a Squidoo lens and write unique review of a product , create HubPages hub and do the same and place your ebook link in the both.
Visit ebooks forums, take part in their discussions and add the link leading to your Squidoo lens or HubPages hub in your signature. This way you link will be in every topic or reply you make on forum. Then ask you friends to do a positive reviews of your ebook or pay someone few dollars to do the same. That will help you convince undecided potential customers to buy your book.
Remember, to use the Facebook and Twitter marketing and every other type of social marketing.
If you think that ebook publishing is not your thing, then try your luck as Amazon’s affiliate. Applying into the Amazon’s affiliate program is quite easy. Just sign up as an Amazon Associate. It’s simple and free. Now, you can go in a few ways of making money as Amazon’s affiliate.
First way is to use you Amazon affiliate links to monetize you existing blog or website. That is not hard to do but, keep in mind that earning money will be really slow and long-term. You can also create an aStore (Amazon mini store) and place it on your blog.
Second way is to build a review blog based on a group of Amazon’s products. Write the review of specific products, one product per post, be precise and honest, write a good post headline (use the seo bullets) and then just add the affiliate link of that product and presto.
Third way is perfect for those without website or blog. As I mentioned before, you must create a Squidoo lens and write unique review of a product and then create HubPages hub and do the same. Remember, don’t publish the same review on both sites because, second site will reject it as copy. Then place your ebook into both through their monetization with Amazon products.
Fourth way is to create a video of your-self, doing the review of a product while holding it in your hands. You can buy that product and think of it as good investment that will repay it self in affiliate commissions or you can borrow it and return after the review.
Fifth way is to build small affiliate site of one specific product that cost, let say 1200$ is on mega sale, or gold deal on Amazon. Make sure that discount of that product is at least 70% off.
To continue, buy a domain on Namecheap with the name of that product in it and add words like: mega cheap discount, turbo discount xxl. Well, you get my meaning. After that rent reliable web hosting (if you don’t already rent one) and create a WordPress blog. Install the simple & elegant free theme on it, install few selected plugins (all in one seo, Google site map) and make that you place the domain keyword into the name of the blog.
Then, optimize your “product name + review or sale or buy” site for on-page SEO and do a solid research and write a few reviews, find few testimonials, then you put a big call to action on the page saying “Save 840$ TODAY at Amazon” and we’re pretty much guaranteed the sale.
You will find that your site will rank on first page of Google, including first place, for longer keyword search phrases that include the model number.
